I have been teaching with enthusiasm and love for music for over 20 years and after several pedagogical studies.

I currently offer private lessons at my home in Bochum.

Beginners, advanced and returning students of all ages are welcome. I am happy to cater to individual musical preferences and stylistic wishes, because the joy of making music for yourself and together is my top priority. I also attach great importance to developing a healthy body awareness and posture on the instrument, a sound playing technique and getting to know a varied repertoire of many different styles.

Left-handed instruments

As a left-hander, I initially learned to play the cello in the conventional way. Since 2012, I have also been playing an inverted instrument (left-handed bowing, right-handed fingering) and offer consultations and lessons on this subject.
